Dr. Ramsey is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Ramsey's internship and residency was performed at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. and Prince George's Medical Center, Cheverly Chase, MD and rotation at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Ramsey has been licensed to practice OB-GYN in Virginia since 1976. He is affiliated with and has privileges at Potomac Hospital and INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He is a member of the Virginia Medical Society and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Over the years many physicians have collectively joined forces and have created medical groups/practices to include multiple physicians and midwives. Since beginning his practice in 1976, Dr. Ramsey has felt that each individual should receive personal hands-on medical care. This is the primary reason he has remained in solo practice all these years. Dr. Ramsey's patients always know who is going to render care to them.
